Vivian Howard is an accomplished, professional, spiritual, businesswoman dedicated to spreading God’s spirit. She enjoys leaving things better than she found it and works diligently and methodically to achieve the desired result.
She has always been actively involved with her beloved Church of the Nazarene. In 2016 she decided to share God’s message with ladies who would join her for the first Retreat Unplugged. The first Women’s Retreat was a success and all who attended took from it a precious gift; a refreshed and renewed spirit. There is no better gift. The rest is history and Vivian turned her sights to next year’s Retreat Unplugged which has been held every year since except 2020 due to COVID.
She works assiduously throughout the entire year developing the message of each retreat, programs, brochures, venues, accommodations, menus and assisting every woman who signs up for every retreat. She does this while always working to keep the cost of this event as low as possible to give every woman who cares to experience this retreat the ability to do so.
Vivian believes it is important to take time out from our busy lives for peaceful contemplation and to share the blessing of God through Retreat Unplugged! She works diligently year-round to make each Retreat the most enlightening and spiritually refreshing experience possible. Her bountiful and limitless devotion to these annual events along with her total commitment ensures each Retreat is better than one before.
She is the proud mother of two sons, Brian who is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene and has been involved with Retreat Unplugged from the beginning and her other son Vince, an accomplished business owner and Certified Public Accountant. Vivian is the proud grandmother of three wonderful grandchildren Mei Lin, Kai Li and Briley.
